Is there a minimum charge for quilts?

Yes, the minimum charge is $50. For smaller quilts that are less than approximately 1,650 square inches we do have a minimum quilting fee of $50, for example baby quilts, table runners, etc..

If you have multiple small items such as table runners, placemats etc. and they all will have the same continuous piece of backing we can charge you the square inch cost for all items together, this will eliminate the $50 per quilt minimum charge for each item, we will add all of the items to together for pricing purposes.  If you would like to choose this option, just reach out and we can set up the special order for you.

Is custom quilting available?

No, we do not offer custom quilting at this time.

What if I do not see the pattern design I would like for my quilt?

Not a problem, we are happy to split the cost for a new design.  Most patterns run between $10 - $15 dollars. Just reach out and let us know what you are looking for, we are happy to help you find just the right pattern for your quilt.

Is batting included in the standard and value pricing?

Yes, we include Quilter Dreams  80/20 a cotton/ poly blend, mid loft.  We also offer QuiltersDream Wool,   a blend of Merino and domestic wool, light yet lofty for an extra $5.00.

Question 6

What size does my backing need to be?

The backing should be at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top and all sides.  Note: for minky or cuddle backing it should be 6-inches larger than your quilt top on all sides.

If piecing your backing, horizontal seems to work best.  Vertical seams may lead to tucks on the back.

Do you accept minky, cuddle for backing?

Yes!  We love a cuddly quilt and are happy to finish your quilt with minky or cuddle backing.  The backing needs to  measure 6-inches larger on all sides than you quilt top.

Can you piece the back?

We are happy to sew the backing together if you would like, piecing one seam is $10.

What is the largest quilt you size you can accept?

We can handle up to 120-inch width.

Do you offer rush or expedited quilting?

Yes, we offer 1 week turnaround on quilting for a $35.00 upcharge.

We have a Gammill Statler, computerized machine with a 12-foot table.
